Blurb: Lucas is sure he’s made a mistake—it has to be painfully obvious he’s never been to an underground gay club before. He doesn’t do things like this—he’s too shy, too reserved. He certainly doesn’t expect to be felt up by a total stranger as soon as he walks in the door. But just as he’s talking himself into leaving, the hottest guy in the place with the most beautiful green eyes he’s ever seen pulls him onto the dance floor. Green Eyes insists on “no names, no strings…” and just this once, Lucas is inclined to agree.
Reviewed by Stacey Jo: This is a very short story that can be read in under ten minutes, but despite it's short length, it packs a punch. This is a hot little read with a well-developed story line and characters. It's got a sweet little twist at the end that makes for a great happily ever after.
The story is told from the POV of Lucas, who seems to be maybe the shy type. He's definitely never been out to a gay club before so he's a bit nervous and unsure of himself. He spots "green eyes" in the line outside the club. Once they make it inside, it's not long before "green eyes" finds him and they start dancing briefly before they move out to the alley out back and things get really hot from there. Lucas marvels at how out of character this is for him, but he goes with it. It's interesting to see what Lucas is thinking. And then there is a really nice twist to the story. Really fun story and well worth the few minutes of my time.
